ANNUAL CONSUMPTION QUANTITIES
The heating plant of Tata has been supplying the city of Tata with green energy, district heating and domestic hot water since 1986. In addition to the two 4 MW natural gas-fired boilers, a 5 MW biomass fired boiler generates heat mainly from renewable energy sources. The annual fuel demand of the heating plant of Tata is approximately 5,500 tons, using woodchips and agricultural by-products.
